Medical Care and Vaccinations
At GOVET, we are strong believers of preventative medicine; we highly recommend routine examinations, vaccinations, heart worm and internal parasite testing for your pets on an annual basis. Also, no matter the age of your pet, we have the wellness blood panels and tests specific for your pets and their life stage. To read more click here.
Traveling with your pet requires preparation prior to your departure, this process can take days to even months to plan. At GoVet, we can help you with any queries you may have regarding your pets travel, and after seeing your pet fit for travel, can provide you with an official government health certificate.
We offer a range of lab services, from blood, urine to fecal testing. If your pets require more specialized diagnostic tests, we may use outside veterinary laboratories. To read more click here.
We are able to do spays, neuters, and other minor surgical procedures from within our mobile unit. Read more about spaying and neutering your pets.
At GOVET, we do dental cleaning and extractions (if necessary) for more advanced cases of dental disease, keeping your pets healthy and pain free. We also provide digital radiography to help identify dental disease below the gum line. Read more on our dental procedures.
For the middle to senior aged dogs (> 5 years), we recommend blood work for early detection of disease, which can enable you to manage disease better and improve quality of life and ultimately increase their life span.
End Of Life Care
As your pets approach their senior years, we can help guide you on this end-of-life experience and minimize any discomfort or distress that your pets may endure. As your pet’s health declines, you may elect to care for your pet at home with the appropriate medical and physical support, or if you believe that your pets quality of life has deteriorated, you may decide to end his suffering. At GoVet, we offer humane euthanasia, with the option of burial or cremation.
